Septic tanks Septic tanks hold waste water and effluent from the home in order to treat it biologically prior to dispersal into the municipal sewer or into the earth via a leaching field or "soakaway".
Septic tanks are installed underground for safety and to assist in containing odors. Historically, these tanks used to be built of concrete, however problems due to settling or movement of the earth, porosity of concrete over time and difficulty of access have led to the design of more durable, more efficient tanks.
Our Eco Sphere tanks offer exceptional strength due to their spherical design, and are highly resistant to fracturing and to most chemicals. Corrosion free, they offer a lightweight and compact solution to effluent disposal. All eco sphere models are available with a manhole extension to facilitate easy access.
Rhino Septic tanks are more suited to higher effluent volumes, and like our Eco Sphere models, are all created from prime grade linear polyethylene. They are highly resistant to cracking, impact, as well as most chemicals and compounds. Rhino tanks are heavily ribbed for additional rigidity and strength, and are lightweight and compact: no heavy lifting equipment is required for installation. All of our Rhino tanks are environmentally friendly, and are WASA approved!
